I’m so glad you’re here!

Shelby Finds is my passion project, born in 2020 during the Covid pandemic. After 14 years as an international flight attendant, I settled in Kwa-Zulu Natal with my husband Lance and son Nathan at the end of 2019. With the world in lockdown, I had the time to create Shelby Finds, inspired by my love for unique textiles, quirky trinkets, and vibrant art from South and East Asia.

Now, four years later, Shelby Finds is a small, family-run business. Everything we offer is ethically sourced from skilled artisans in India, and our latest rug designs—Taj, Mystic, Flamin' Racer, Zelda, and Magpie & Tiger - are created by talented local Durban designers.

I like to keep things fresh by offering limited quantities of each design. Once something sells out, it’s usually gone for good, but we do restock popular items—just look for the “Coming Soon” tag!
